I'm a follower of Jesus Christ, husband to Cassidy, a dad to Micah, Hannah and Chloe and a pastor. In 2016, God moved us back to Jacksonville to help begin the North Campus of Chets Creek Church in Jacksonville, Florida. I'm passionate about helping people come to know Jesus and live for Him!  I spent over 12 years previously in Student Ministry and one year as a Teaching Pastor before planting the North Campus.

I've served alongside great churches in the past that have helped me in my journey as a leader. My college years were spent playing sports for one year (basketball and baseball) until God called me to focus solely on ministry.  I enrolled and finished a B.A. in Christian Education at The Baptist College of Florida in 2006. After entering full-time ministry I finished a Master’s of Arts in Religion with a concentration in Christian Leadership and a Masters of Religious Education from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary.

In my personal time I enjoy playing basketball, surfing, writing and cheering on Florida State,  the Orlando Magic and Jacksonville Jaguars. But above all, I love to spend time with Cassidy, Micah, Hannah and Chloe!

My passion is to help lead people to become growing followers of Jesus. The goal of my writing is to inspire, encourage, and equip leaders. I want to share what I'm learning in my journey through life as a Christ-follower, husband, dad and pastor. You can expect to read posts on leadership, ministry and marriage, with a little sports and culture mixed in.

I hope this blog is an encouragement to you!

I'd like to hear from you! If I can be of any help, shoot me an email: or message me below.
